Pretty Little Saturday is the musical alias of Kristi Knupp, an indie pop artist based in Asheville, North Carolina. After years of capturing the energy and emotion of live music as a photographer in Los Angeles, she’s now stepping into the spotlight, trading the camera for a microphone. Her debut album, Long Overdue, charts that journey—layering lush electronic textures, heartfelt indie pop melodies, and vibrant soundscapes that reflect both the charm of mountain life and the neon glow of the city.

Having spent years behind the lens documenting other artists, Pretty Little Saturday now fully embraces her role as a performer. With Long Overdue, she blends indie pop sensibilities with electronic flourishes and introspective storytelling, offering listeners a glimpse into the experiences that shaped her transition from observer to creator. Whether in the mountains of Asheville or on the beaches of Los Angeles, Pretty Little Saturday’s music captures the shift from documenting others’ stories to telling her own.
